How to renew ip address

    The CM600 is a modem only device. It gets assigned its public ip address from your ISP. Its not changeable/renewable unless your isp does it. 

    You can try rebooting it and seeing if they'll reissue a different one but its on the ISP.

    Start with the issue you are trying to fix rather than someone's idea about how to do it.

     

    Do you have some sort of problem on your network? Describe what it is, and what else is on the network, the router for example, and someone may be able to offer idea.
