CM700 switch from 100Mbs to 300Mbs Help
I just recently upgaded my Spectrum internet service speeds from 100Mbs to 400Mbs (Ultra). According to Spectrum, they are getting the 400 Mbs to the modems. I'm using a cable splitter, as I still have a Spectrum home landline.
All Speedtests indicate that I'm only at 75Mbs (on other side of house) to 112 Mbs (with ethernet attached) download speeds. I have a NetGear CM700 connected to an Eero wireless mesh system for WiFI, and a Technicolor TC8717T for the phone.
What should I be doing to get the 400 Mbs??? I looked up the specs to the NetGear CM700 and it says it can handle downloads of 1.4Gbs.

Connect a wired PC or laptop to the modem directly, power off the modem for 1 minute then back on then try speed testing.Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
