CMD31T Thru Put
Modem speed drops to < 1 Mbps DL, UL < 100 Kbps. Cox Cable. Have had zero problems with them. Yesterday, Cox had me power down, disco coax, wait thirty seconds and brought back up. DL speed was again > 50 Mbps and upload was > 2 Mbps. Same thing happened today. Modem has 4 more days of warranty. Any ideas? Modem is not hot but is warm to the touch. No smells like in some of the other chains on this modem.

The other thing I would try is swap out the Ethernet and cable line to see if its a bad cable but if its still acting like that I would contact netgear phone support in case its faulty while its still under warranty.
