Comcast Competence?

I just had a Comcast chat agent tell me that the Netgear C6300 supports 24/8 channels.   The specs say it's only 16/4. Anyone??

You're correct. Its a 16x4 modem internal to the C6300. 

Never trust a comcast rep. :)
