Comparing Orbi CBK40-100Nas and NETGEAR C7800-200NAS

I have Comcast and want to know which Modem/ Router is a better product. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

Its a loaded statement. and a lot depends on usage and home setup.

The orbi devices aren't going to have the same peak speeds as a flagship single device product like the C7800 but its going to have higher average speeds at distance because of its satellites and wireless/wired backhaul.

    to simplify it:

if you live in a larger home, have dead spots, or need better coverage overall, the orbi is going to be better.

if you live in a small home/apartment and/or  just want more capabilities closer to the router, then the c7800 is going to be better.

The CBK40 is better then the C7800 IMO.

I haven't used the CBK40 but did compare have a RBk43 to compare my C7800 to. Both worked well. but the C7800 did have higher peak throughput speeds as well as it was capable of gigabit speeds on my ISP (xfinity).

The CBK40 is also capable of near 900Mpbs though some ISPs will probably required a D3.1 modem. The CBR is only 3.0.
