Compatible with Centurylink?

I just bought a Nighthawk AC1900 Wifi cable modem router (C7000v2) a couple days ago. I am so excited to hook it up, but I don't know if it's compatible with my ISP. I am a Centurylink consumer, and I need to know whether or not my model is compatible with Centurylink.

    As far as I"m aware, centurylink uses either dsl or fibre. Not cable. 

    You'd have to check with centurylink to confirm this but thats my understanding.
