Which Roku model? Did you intend to connect it wirelessly (to
whatever)? What is your (unspecified) "Router"?Generally, the only thing which you'd connect to your modem would be
your router (WAN/Internet port). Any client device (like, say, a Roku
box) would be connected to the router (LAN Ethernet port or wireless

Any Roku device needs to be connected to a wifi router. The CM modem you have is just a modem only. No wifi or router. So connect up a wifi router of your choosing to the CM modem then connect the Roku to the wifi router.

"Any"? Does a Roku box with an Ethernet port need "a wifi router"?
