connection time out pinging modem/router
I am having weird issues with my modem/router. Over wifi all conne toons are fine, but my computer, connected through ethernet, is having issues connecting to anything. Even pinging the router itself I get a "connection timed out" about 50% of the time. I am unable to get into the firmware to change settings. On the Genie app, it shows my computer as connected to the network.
I've cycled power on the router and my computer several times. I pinged 127.0.0.1 to make sure my computer is fine (it is). I've tried 2 different ethernet cables. I'm not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.

do you have another computer or device that could be connected via ethernet to test with? Always a good idea to isolate where the problem is coming from.

Try a factory reset with the Coax disconnected from the modem and have 1 wired PC connected to the modem. Try to access the modems UI at 192.168.0.1.
Is this a store bought modem or ISP supplied modem?
