Help! Unable to connect to WiFi. Internet company says they aren't the problem. We have the C6300v2. I never knew about the NetGear app so haven't connected it so unable to view status. How can I ensure my firmware is up to date? The LAN light is not on.

The firmware isn't user changeable. Its part of the provisioning from the ISP.
What actual problem are you having?
Do you have a screensnip of the cable connections page and the event logs?
That helps us check the connection. The ISP's first response is always "its not the line"
