Corrupt Firmware after power outage
I turned my power off for about 20 minutes today and when i turned it back on, my router was blinking. Blinking green light apparently means corrupt firmware.
I've found several threads and followed them, but I still can't get it to work. I'm using the IP4, assining and IP address, and I can successfully ping the router. However, when I try to TFTP it doesn't work.
I'm on a windows computer. I've tried the TFTP by enabling on windows and then using cmd- but that gives me the message "connect request failed"
Per other threads, i've also tried the tftp2.exe application. That repeatedly tells me "unable to get a response"
As I've read in other threads, the fact that I can ping the router is a good sign. But I cannot figure out how to send the file to the router. Please help!

I finally found the answer. For any one else having trouble, this is the only TFTP thing that worked: https://kb.netgear.com/000059633/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-client?language=en_US
