Corrupted Firmware

While trying to download a firmware update I lost internet connection. It now appears that the firmware is possibly corrupted. I have no internet and green light on top of router is flashing and the Amber one under it are the only lights that are on. I’m pretty stupid when it comes to these things. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is that accurate?  (Not WNDR4500v2?)  Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for the LED descriptions.

"top"?  Using the common names for the indicators can be clearer than
bad geographical descriptions.  If you mean the Power indicator, then
you may be a candidate for the TFTP recovery scheme.  See, for example:

          How, exactly?
