couple of issues and a question

I do have a Dlink DIR601 wifi router which I was thinking I could hook up to the modem and since this is an old router I should be able to get 2.4G, but this didnt work either. Issue 2: I added IPVanish for streaming and eliminate buffering to my firesticks. We had 300mbps service and checked the wifi speed with laptop within 6 feet of router and was getting 95mbps download speed. Just last night added to 600mbps as we still had some buffering and with my tablet approximately 40 feet away from the wifi router was getting 43mbps.  Any help is very much appreciated.-------Again, this is a router issue. If you purchased a Linksys router, how do you think netgear can help?

I'm not sure what we can do for you. The CM1150V is a modem/voice device. It has no routing capability, wifi, etc. It simply provides a public ip address to the Linksys router you bought. Have you contacted linksys?
