Devices Disconnect but Reconnect After Reboot
Not sure if this is the right board... I have a Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.1 Two-In-One Camble Modem + Wifi Router. Rather frequently now, certain devices disconnect from the internet. For example, m...

I'll try to answer these. I'm not an expert...
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
It's set to Auto. What will changing the channels do? Curious...
How many WiFi devices do you have?
Hard to tell because some are no longer connected. I would guess 12-15? The Flo device has a "hub." The Chargepoint is in our garage but uses an extender that goes through the electrical outlet.
How big is the home in Sq feet?
1500SF
What is the distances from the gateway to these devices?
Not far, especially since the Flo hub is next to router.
Is Smart Connect enabled or disabled on the gateway?
Don't know how to check this.
Thanks!

Is this extender something you added on for additional wifi coverage? Brand and model# of this extender?
What is the distance between this extender and the gateway router?

How close is the hub next to the router? Distances from the router to devices should be 6 feet minimum.

Log into the routers web page and under Basic tab/Wireless settings. Should see something call Smart Connect here.
Also see if there is any additional Wi-Fi features on the routers web page under advanced tab/advanced settings/Wireless settings.

I can try changing the channels, thanks for the suggestion.
My garage is cement lined, so there was no wifi getting inside the garage. So I put this is a plug next to the router (3 feet away). The garage is about 75 feet away.
The Flo detector hub literally sits on top of the router/modem.
Don't see the smart connection under Basic Tab / Wireless. I checked all of the other pages and don't see it. I've attached that column on that page (below)
I see it says 25 devices attached. I think many are no longer attached. It's odd that it's the same devices every time disconnecting.
Is it possible that I simply need a new router? Or does this seem systematic to you?
Thank you for trying to help!!!

Is the Wi-Fi portion of the PL system is placed at the remote location I presume?

Please remove the hub from sitting on top of the router/modem. This can cause heat damage and inability to properly vent and dissipate heat from the modem. Devices needs to be at least 3-6 feet away from the router/modem.

Sorry, I wasn't being literal. The hub is right next to it. Nothing is on the modem itself.
The plug in part of the PL is next to the router (and connected via a cable), the other (wifi) side is in the garage. It works beautifully otherwise. In fact, I have another device in the garage that controls the door, and it stays connected even though the Chargepoint, which is right next to it, goes offline.
It's almost as if something triggers these few devices to go offline. I don't know what would cause it, and it's been happening more and more frequently. Nothing else is effected but these same few devices.
Should I try a new router?
