DHCP no longer works with new Archer vr1600v and Netgear GS608 and GS605
Hi
I recently upgraded ADSL to FTTC NBN using a TP_Link Archer vr1600v modem but then all hard wired devices could no longer get a DHCP address, switches had green lights, the modem indicated connections of 1000Mb on each port and blinking lights on the switches indicated network activity.
DHCP over WiFi works fine as does a direct connection from the end device to the modem work fine with the device picking up a DHCP address from the modem.
I had previously had a variety of ADSL modem brands and my switches worked perfectly.
My ISP, TPG, supplied the modem but are unwilling to help with the issue.
If someone can provide some advice other than purchase new switches or modem that would be greatly appreciated.
I have 2x Netgear GS608 8 port switches and 2x GS605 switches each located in different rooms, Cat 6 cabling throughout the house.
Many thanks
Scott
