Difference between C7000-100NAS and C7100-1AZNAS
I am changing internet service providers and want to purchase my own cable modem/router but I am confused by the Netgear model designations. I see many community discussions about the difference (packaging ?) between the C7000-100NAS and the C7000-1AZNAS but I am unable to determine the difference between the C7000 and the C7000-100NAS. Can anyone clarify? Thanks in advance.

Here's the thread with an offical moderator/netgear rep.
Basically its the box that it comes in is different.

AFAIK there is no C7100-1AZNAS ... much more it's C7100V-1AZNAS so it does support cable provider VoIP voice with POTS port service.
Depending on the expected Internet connection speed resp, the cable Internet service plan, you might want to look for a device capable of higher cable modem speed.
