Disabling Wlan partition?
Good afternoon,
I just switched from the Comcast provided tower cable wifi router to the N600. Both bands are working fine, but my wireless brother printer only recognizes the 2.4 Ghz band. ...

That's what should happen (with the optional exception of a guest
network), but similar complaints have appeared here for various model
and/or firmware versions. For example:

Complain to Netgear? Buy a properly functioning router? (The modem
part of the C3700 should be harmless in this respect.)
You could try a settings reset (and manual reconfiguration)) on the
C3700, just in case its settings got scrambled someplace along the way.
I wouldn't bet much on that, however.
