DNS Settings Grayed Out
I'm trying to change the DNS Settings on my cable gateway. It's an AC1900/C6300BD wireless cable data gateway and my internet provider is Cox. I have logged in using the address for the modem. How...
I gave Cox a call. They said that that functionality is disabled on newer modems, and they cannot change it. Also, all future modems will have the same functionality disabled. It's time to switch to a new ISP. Thank you for trying to work through this with me.
Do you have any parental controls enabled? Disable these as these tend to use specific DNS addresses thus disabling the use of configuring the DNS addresses here.
