Does AC1900 C7000v2 have SmartConnect?

I'm setting up a new modem/router combo for my in-laws, and would prefer that they not have to deal with two different networks (2.4/5G). Does the AC1900 support Smart Connect as it is shown in this tutorial? I don't see a way to enable it in Wireless Settings or Advanced Wireless settings..
