DoS Attack Subnet

Hello Netgear Community,

I purchased the C7000v2 Modem/Router about 5 months ago. All was good until the past 2 weeks or so in regards to connectivity and dropouts.  I went to check the logs and noticed this IP 192.0.58.144 as the source was apparently sending out DoS attacks to random IPs. Tried unplugging and resetting the gateway, however, the problem keeps occurring and appears to be getting worse. Tried resetting a couple of my IoT devices to see if they were hacked, however, the attacks kept occurring. I scanned a couple of my computers for malware and no hits, but attacks were still persisting. Yes, there were external DoS attacks even during the first few days just like there are now, but rarely had droupouts and denial of service moments. The Dos protection was doing its job.  Any info would be greatly helpful since my logs are covered with DoS attacks from this source address.

Thanks!

Contact your ISP and notify them about this IP address.

Have them change your IP address as well.
