Downgrade Modem Firmware (CM400)

Hello.  I have a friend who has switch from Spectrum to WoW for internet service but WoW is saying his modem's firmware is a few versions ahead of what is supported on their network and suggested he contact Spectrum to have the older verson of firmware installed.  That's an uphill battle considering he's no longer a customer.  The current firmware version is V1.01.21.  Looking to downgrade to .18 if possible.  Anyway to track down this firmware directly from Netgear?

    there is no way to downgrade the FW by the end user. 

     

    the way cable Modems are design, ISP upgrades/downgrade the FW themselves.
