Download Speed (C7000 V2)
So my download speeds drop to 8mbs when I am downloading anything. I am currently paying for gigabit speed from my ISP. When I go to test my download speeds it gives me about 130-140mbs download speeds but that is not what I am actually experiencing when downloading things. Any help?

A couple ideas.
1. Most isp's (not all) require docsis 3.1 for gigabit speeds. The c7000 is docsis 3.0.
2. Do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the logs from the c7000? it allows us to check connections back to isp.
3. If you have any cable splitters, amplifiers, or attenuators in line, remove them. check the coax for kinks/damage/corrosion/bad-cheap connectors/extended runs. Prefereably, connect it where the coax enters the home to rule out wiring within the walls causing the issues.

it might also be beneficial to post in the proper forum for your device.
