Downstream LED flashing green

- This evening the light stopped blinking out of nowhere and the wifi is working normally. I have no clue why this corrected itself after a few weeks if not working correctly.
It is the Netgear Nighthawk c7000 cable modem router. I purchased it in April 2016 but didn't start having been problems until recently. Today I reset it to factory setting and the light is still flashing.
