Downstream light keeps blinnking
Hi everyone.
I found out my internnet wasn't working when I got home, and then I received an alert from my internet provider, Xfinity, said that they had an outage, so I assumed that was the case. Few hours later, Xfinity notified me the problem has been dealt with, but still my internet didn't work after several attempts to restart the modem. The Xfinity webpage said that it could not find my Modem/Router.
The Downstream light keeps flashing green, the Upstream and Internet are off, Ethernet is amber.
So what is the problem here? I want to figure out if it was the product failure or something else.
Thanks!

Besure there are no cable coax line splitter inbetween the ISP service box and modem.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cabling up to the modem.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality up to the modem.
Factory reset the modem with the coax cable disconnected from the modem.
