It's crashed in the neighborhood of 20-25 times today. It's the biggest pos I've ever purchased, and that includes my first car, which was 10 years old. I am going to go on a crusade to warn people. It's beyond annoying.

I would contact Netgear support if the modem is still under warranty they will be able to do some troubleshooting with you and replace the modem if they find it defective.
