Expired Wi-Fi Router/Modem network names

Hi All,

I'm new here and just have one hopefully!! simple question.

I've had several routers over the last few years and each had a network name that came up when I wanted to add a device to my network.

Question is: Does anyone know how to remove/delete these obsolete network names so only the current ones are displayed?

Thank you

If the wireless router with some SSID (wireless-network name) is
gone, and that SSID still appears in the network/SSID list on your
(unspecified) device, then you'd need to delete that connection
information from your (unspecified) device.  How you'd do that might
sepend on what your (unspecified) device is.

You could also configure your new router with the same credentials
(SSID, passphrase) as you used with your old router.  Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation.  Get the User Manual.  Look for "Specify Basic WiFi
    Settings".
