External Hard drive unreadable after unplugging from router

I plugged in the NETGEAR Gateway C3700 my Seagate harddrive formatted for Mac, but realized that access was very slow. So I ejected the harddrive for the readyshare page, but when I plugged it in the USB connection on my Mac, I couldn't see it. But if I replug it in the NETGEAR, it is there. How come I can't see it anymore when plugged in my Mac?

    Hello Paulauger

That is strange because you used a Mac format so you should be able to plug it back into a Mac. Are you able to put it back on readyshare and pull the files off and format the drive?
