Firmware Updates for CM600
I am trying to get the latest firmware for my new cm600. Comcast says they DO NOT provide it to my device. I went to Netgear for my devices firmware and the link is BLANK. I am concerned for the consumer and would like to discuss this issue.

Firmware upgrades for DOCSIS cable modems are handled by the ISP. There's nothing Netgear can do.
NETGEAR Support How do I update firmware on my ISP provided NETGEAR Modem/Router?
Can Netgear be more proactive in making sure the ISPs are keeping up with security protocols and WAN technologies with regards to consumers Netgear devices? I believe the one they provide has security Vulnerabilities. PLEASE TAKE ACTION!!! It is your responsibility as a provider of technical equipment to ensure customer satisfaction and, in this case, this includes security for the benefit of all internet users.
