Firmware v3.01.14 for N450 CG3000Dv2

My currently installed firmware (Comcast ISP) is 3.01.6 and the Netgear support page lists 3.01.14 as the current release. However when I go to the product's Download Firmware and Documentation support page, the only things available for download are Genie apps. Where can I find this firmware release and is there another way to update the Modem/Gateway besides a PC-connected upload?

    Hello bezimmer

All cable modems are updated through your ISP no manual way to update the firmware.

I have a Netgear Modem/Router N450 (CG3000DV2) and my ISP is Spectrum. My Firmware Version at the moment is V3.01.06 but the latest Spectrum (Approved Firmware) is V3.01.14

My Wifi connection is unstable so I reset the modem 1-2 times a day, every day,  to get my Wifi connection back. I finally realized that my firmware was outdated and saw this reply and called Spectrum to ask them to update my firmware but their tech couldn't help me because their system supposedly updates it automatically and he can't do it manually. So basically I know what the problem is, and I know how to fix it but I can't.

Why did you guys remove the firmware update option from the Gateway?

        Hello gadger316

This is how the firmware is updated with any cable provider no cable modem has a manual update feature its all done through the ISP.
