Genie

I believe all aspects my unit are working correctly under Windows7, but the Genie 2.4.26 settings are screwy.

 

#1  Router Settings button shows wireless name & guest network name
but WiFi connection button show blanks for Connect WiFi & WiFi Channel tabs but it does show Guest Access as Enabled 
and Home button shows Wifi connection Status Not Enabled

 

#2  Network Map button shows no connection from router to internet

but Home button shows Internet Status as GOOD
Home button shows Network Map as Scanning.

 

My ISP is Charter Communications which was not up-to-date with this Netgear model which includes the modem.

Therefore, my Charter CSR gerry-rigged my connection to make it compatible to their system.

 

Since everything seems to be working, shall I just ignore the Genie?

    Hello Schiml 

     

    I would remove your current version of genie and re download and install it. But you should be fine if everything is still working properly.
