Gigabit speed being throttled down
So we have 1000mbps internet plan with Comcast Xfinity. Modem - Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 Cable Modem Router - Netgear Nighthawk XR700 Pro Gaming Router Both are up to date with Firmware Connect...
So I legit have the (almost) exact same setup and same thing happening to me. (xr500 instead) For the past month I've had major ping spikes and inconsistent downloads using the router. When I plug directly into the CM1200 speeds are perfect so it's definitley a problem with the xr500. All of these companies are starting to make trash routers. I'm close to just buying cheap expecting to replace every 6 months...
