Gigabit speed being throttled down

So we have 1000mbps internet plan with Comcast Xfinity.  Modem - Netgear Nighthawk CM1200 Cable Modem  Router - Netgear Nighthawk XR700 Pro Gaming Router Both are up to date with Firmware Connect...

Same issue. After reboot, 1000Mbps down and 40Mbps up.  3 hours later, like clockwork, drops to 20-30Mbps down and 20-30Mbps up.  Signal strength is fine.  I do have link aggregation enabled - which is why I got this modem/router combo.  Did anybody get this resolved??

doeichel 1. Disabled link aggregation. netgear might have a fix but if the ISP's don't roll it out, not beneficial.
