The GUI Language Version is displayed in the Router Information box when I login to the router and select [Advanced > Advanced Home].
I am assuming from antinode's reply that the Genie that could be installed from the file NETGEARGenie-install.exe (version 2.4.48.0) that I found on the Netgear Web site is NOT for use with a router used by a PC.

Ok. That's tied to the router firmware.

"I found on the Netgear Web site" is not a very helpful description
of where you found that file. "the Netgear Web site" is a large place.
Perhaps:

"NETGEARGenie-install.exe" is the installer for the Windows variant
of the genie app. If you want a genie app for Windows, then that's what
you'd use to install it. But those version numbers which you cited have
approximately nothing to do with each other.
