Having to reboot at least once per day
No problems with internet provider... ina well ventilated room next to my desktop Mac. Any ideas? Sorry I keep getting told I am posting in the wrong forum, hopefully this is the right one ...
What is the brand and model of the host wifi router connected to the modem? There is no router conencted to the modem it is a AC1900 smart router
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page. How would I do this?
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly. This has been done
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. There are none
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem. Yes
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON. I do not unerstand that - I know it is what you have to do but that would have no effect on the router dropping its connection surely?

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? Yes lots - estimate around 5 that show up as wifi networks
There has been no incidence of needing to reboot for a week now so whatever was causin gthe problem seems to have sorted itself out.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
