I bought a CM600 modem a year ago and connected to Medeacom internet the 90 day Netgear help is gone and 1 one year warenty has run out. I have 100mb of internet speed and Medeacom says my modem is on ly putting out 35 to 45 mb of speed I have a Netgear router and have been happy with it. The support for Netgear is kind of bad you can not even contact them my email. Anyone have any advice I do not want to rent one of the networks modem but to have it giving me proble just after one year of getting it

If the ISP says the modem is only working at a certain level and they've checked the signal levels, then the CM modem may need to be replaced if you have tried a reset or done all troubleshooting. Besure there are no line splitters between the modem and ISP services as these can cause problems on the line.
Recommended modems are Netgear CM1000/1100, Arris SB6183.8200,Motorola MB7420/8600 for modem only units.
