How do I change my external IP address? I keep getting Dos'ed. Model: C6300 AC1750

Hi, I have a dynamic router and was wondering if it is possible for me to change my external ip as I am under constant attack. Is there any way of fixing this without contacting NETGear support?

       Ask your ISP?  They, not you, not Netgear, control it.

      I don't want to contact support because of the $50 warranty I have to pay and when I contact my isp, they say that I have to contact netgear

        First of all, we do apologize for the inconvenience of not getting back to you immediately due to the backlog in the system. Do you still need assistance with this? The External IP address is provided to you by your ISP regardless of whatever your modem is. Even if you are using a 3rd party modem, the internet settings on the modem come from their end or system. Only your ISP can change the external IP address on your network.
