How fast is your internet connection?
The general view is that QoS gains nothing, and can slow things down, at speeds of >300 Mbps. Netgear also recommends this.

My current internet speed is under 300, and is currently at around 50-60. The most I've ever seen my wifi go up to is around 110 mbps.

Is that 50-60 a wifi speed? Something wired?
I doubt if QoS can do anything about wifi speed. There are many factors involved in that. For a start the wifi clients make a lot of difference.
Then there is local interference. Lots of neighbours may be using the same wifi channels.
On top of that, there is the way in which you measure speeds.
There are just so many variables.
QoS is about prioritising particular devices. If you see the same speeds when nothing else is happening on a network, then QoS isn't likely to do much.

I currently am having no troubles with download and upload speed, but rather latency. My ping in games aren't ideal. My average ping for games are around 80-100 ms, and Ive never seen it go below 50 ms. I suspected it was either the game's server locations or my router, and after some research I found out that my router may be the problem. Most of the games I play have servers located in the same state as me, and when comparing my ping with friends (who live on the same street, and city) it is much worse. At this point even if QoS may not do much, I'm willing to try it and see if I can get even a little bit of a reduction in latency/ping.
