How to connect to DNS server with N450

You probably have overridden the DNS servers on your computer. On your computer, go the IP settings for your network adapter and choose the option to Obtain DNS server address automatically.
That might be true for the computer but the android devices have the same issue. The properties of the network adapter show DNS server for IPv4 DNS Servers is 192.168.0.1 which is the router. For IPv6 it shows the ISP. Also the adapter shows Obtain DNS server address automatically for both the IP4 and IP6 protocols.
It's normal for devices to show 192.168.0.1 as the DNS server. The router will forward all DNS queries to the correct DNS servers. I'm not sure if the CG3000DV2 has any settings for IPv6.
"The router will forward all DNS queries to the correct DNS servers." But its not...that's the problem. The DNS servers I want are listed as described above but nothing is being sent through them. At least the connection is acting as if the ISP servers are being used.
