How to get to messages

Question

I have a message on my nighthawk M1 or net gear mr1100 router to sign into the website to read the messages. The problem is I have no password to enter. I tried entering admin like it says under the kind of router I have and that did not work. Does anyone have any idea how I can log onto the website or even the app to read these messages? Thanks for any help
