I would like to know how to configure my NightHawk C7000 ac1900 into a repeater
HI, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to turn this Nighthawk C7000 ac1900 router/modem into a repeater. I am a noobie, but I am doing this for fun. Thanks SpaceCasey
Some, but not all, modems can turn into wifi repeaters. Unlike other devices, I see no mention of this in the manual for the C7000. So you may be out of luck.
Perhaps someone with a C7000 will have better news.
You may have a better chance of using it as a wired access point. Most modems seem to be up for that.
Remember, cable modems are a bit different from DSL modems. They don't seem to be as flexible.
