If I factory reset my router (C7000v2) in order to recover password, will it affect roommate?

I can’t remember the password and the security questions won’t work for me, so I’d like to reset the router back to factory settings, but I’m wondering if and how that would affect my roommate. Will they need to reconnect to Wi-Fi on all their devices?

    ALL Devices will be disconnected until you get the modem set up after the factory reset. As long as you use the same SSID name and password after, devices will re-connect.
