internet connection is intermittent ( connected 30 seconds off for 5 minutes or more C7000

This has been ongoing for a few weeks now, worked fine initially. How do I know if it is the signal to the router dropping off or something gone wrong in my set up and configuration. I have a range extender also.  The ISP max speed is 15MPS (pretty low Huh?). could my rural ISP be pushing me back to prevent my streaming, so other users are not affected.   Our TV is directly plugged into the router via ethernet port and does not drop out at all.

ISP is only 2.4 GHZ.  All apple devices HP printer iRobot vacuum

How should the antennas best be pointed to transmit from 2nd story to 1st story?

  • I reset the the modem /router  and am not seeing the drop outs. This is a rural area and no one is getting any more bandwidth than the 15 Mbps which is typically much less like 7 to 13 Mbps.  we pay $89 for it.I've not configured any 5G but am opting for the longer distance 2.4G transmission from router to devices.  I may have had too many tabs open on the Mac if that causes a problem.

    this whole thing was confusing.

    1. the ISP doesn't control the 2.4ghz/5ghz on this device. they can't just limit it to 2.4ghz. You control those settings. so not sure whats going on what that.

    2. what speeds do you pay for? Is it really 15mbps? I've not seen a cable ISP limit speeds to 15mbps in a long time. Something is a bit off about that as well.

    3. do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs? That helps us check your line quality
