Not much to go on.
What NG product are you referring too?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
How are you speed testing? Wired ethernet is preferred with a PC and Ooklas installable speed test app.
Also be sure your Ethernet adapter supports 1000Mpbs and Lan cable is CAT6 is recommended.

I have Nighthawk model CAX80 purchased Feb. 2021; no provider equipment. Not sure what firmware is running, no updates available. I'm running Windows 10 and don't really have speed issues, just trying to understand the differences reported. I do experience periodic Internet outage, and Xfinity says they've boosted my signal, but it doesn't always help.

So where are you seeing these differences. Web site? Modems speed test web page?
FW is on the modems web page.
Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and PC. CAT6 is recommended.- acfaymanJul 27, 2022Aspirant
