invalid mac address

xfinity tells me that my modems mac address is invalid even though i double checked it with them. Is there a possibility that the mac adresss both on the box and on the modem is wrong? How can i confirm my exact mac address without opening up the device and losing warranty?

    Log in to the modems web page at 192.168.100.1 and check the MAC address there. 

     

    You'll need to contact NG support and have them help you with this and or return the modem to place of purchase and get another modem.
