invalid MTU value valid range is 616 to 1488

Factory reset my router to fix some wifi problems but now I can't reconnect.

I remember fixing it before but dodo my isp wont support me if because I'm using a byod device instead of one of their pre configured ones.
Last time I got this working I'm pretty sure it a the vlan id but every time I input a new number e.g the recomended 100 I get the error message invalid mtu value valid range in 616 to 1488.
Any help would be appreciated
  • The VLAN ID checkbox only enabled the rest of the values!

Putting the Vlan ID at 100 was not the problem

The default MTU value was outside of the range, dropped the value to a number within and the error message went away.

    Connection went through.

I think it's very strange that a default value would be outside of the range I had just factory reset the darn thing!

Hopefully next time I factory reset the router I'll remember :P
