issue attempting to upgrade Nighthawk cm2050v
I have an issue i've been fighting for months, latest is that my ISP (Comcast/Xfinity) says I need to upgrade the firmware on my Nighthawk CM2050V, but since I own it they will not do it. The NetGea...
Yes the ISP has to do it. I'd ask for escalated support at the ISP. Users are not allowed to update FW on Cm series modems at all. Only the ISP can.
Is there a problem with the modem?
