Issue with C6250 Connectivity

Hello,
I own a C6250 modem/router. I’ve just setup an account with Cox and we can’t get the service to work. Cox says everything looks good and is active from their end. I did notice that the firmware on my C6250 might be old (V1.01.13) but since it’s not a Cox owned modem, they can’t do anything about the firmware. Unfortunately, this modem is now out of the NetGear warranty, so no support there either. Not sure what to do. All the indicator lights on the modem are green, but no connection to the internet. I hate the thought of paying Cox for their modem but it seems like going independent doesn’t work out well. Any help or suggestions welcome. The modem is less than a year old, so I hate to replace it already.

  • Cox has confirmed that my C6250 is online and successfully connecting with the Cox network. Does anyone have thoughts as to why none of my devices, wired or on WiFi, can access the internet via this C6250?
