Keep losing speed

I have a AC2700 CAX30 wifi cable modem router from Costco and 1gb xfinity plan. When I factory reset I get 600-860mbps over wifi 5GHz. Within a couple of hours this drop to 115-225mbps and stays there...

I am not using smart connect. Both my iPhone and my laptop are connected to 5GHz

when the speed drops, what do you get over a wired connection?

    Wired in I’m getting 500-800. Odd thing is my laptop statues fast shortly after going back to wifi.

    So hardwired in average about 700. IPhone 12 wireless 100-120

      try making sure qos, access control, traffic monitoring, and parental controls are disabled. then reboot the device and try. 

      What site (app/browser/etc) are you using for speedtesting?
