I have had the same issue for the exact same amount of time. Massive spikes about every 10-15 seconds. I contacted time warner and they didn't help at all. Please keep this thread updated, I would love to see if someone comes up with a solution. This has been the biggest pain for me since I do a lot of online gaming.

Are your Seeing T3 and T4 timeouts in your logs when you are getting these spikes? If so this is related to a line issue with your ISP.

  It isnt related to a line issue with the ISP. It is a problem with the new firmware that was pushed to the modem/router.

  Lot's of people (myself included) are having this same issue.
  
  TWC blames netgear, netgear blames TWC, and I will never buy another netgear product.
