Hello Offguys
Are your Seeing T3 and T4 timeouts in your logs when you are getting these spikes? If so this is related to a line issue with your ISP.

It isnt related to a line issue with the ISP. It is a problem with the new firmware that was pushed to the modem/router.
Lot's of people (myself included) are having this same issue.
TWC blames netgear, netgear blames TWC, and I will never buy another netgear product.

Hello DeutschFace
Have you tried to factory reset the modem like others in the thread said it fixed the issue?

I literally am having this exact issue. Model n450, firmware version 3.01.06, wired connection. TWC blames netgear, netgear blames TWC, but based on the amount of posts of people having this exact problem it's obvious that the issue is Netgear.
The ping is great then once every 20 seconds a massive spike occurs. I have to restart the modem to get the spikes to stop, and after about 1 hour they come back again. So frustrating, please help.
