Laptop periodically disconnects from Netgear98

I have two laptops on my desk, one running Windows 10 and the other running Windows 11.  The Windows10 machine is very stable and does not disconnect from WiFi.  The Windows 11 machine periodically disconnects from WiFi and I usually have to manually reconnect it on the laptop.  Both laptops are no more than 3 feet from the router.

Any idea what might cause this and how I can keep the Windows 11 machine connected?

Thanks.

There a NG router model that your referring too? R####?

Be sure any wifi adapters drivers are up to date from the adapters mfrs site.

If Windows 10 is working and Windows 11 isn't, might contact Microsoft about this.

What Firmware version is currently loaded on the modem?

How is the wifi configured on the modem?

    What channels are being used?

Is Smart Connect enabled on the modem?
